Creamy One Pan Pasta Sauce

This hearty pasta dish is designed to warm you on a cold night and help you use up the last bit of Anchor Cream!

Creamy One Pan Pasta Sauce
Sauce
  1. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large sauté pan over a gentle heat.
  2. Add the onion and cook for 6-7 minutes until softened. Increase the heat and add the sausage meat, using a spoon to break it up. Cook for 8-10 minutes until nicely browned and crisp. Season to taste.
  3. Add the garlic, stir well, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add the wine and let it bubble up, then deglaze the pan by scraping all the crispy bits off the bottom and stirring them through.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and add the passata, Anchor Cream and Parmesan. Stir until combined and then simmer gently for 5-10 minutes.
Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente (8-9 minutes).
  2. Drain the pasta, add it to the sauce, and toss to combine.
To Serve
  1. Tip the Creamy Tomato Pasta onto a serving platter or divide it into four portions and finish with a sprinkling of Parmesan.
